What is God up to?

My prayers go out for the Chapmans... and especially their son. I know God did not allow this to happen in vain. I don't know what His plans are, but He must have something tremendous in store to accomplish through this tragedy. I keep thinking, "What if it were Little Girl?" Their daughter was the same age. What a tremendous loss for the family, and to have to cope with the complicating issue of a sibling's feelings of guilt as well, it all just seems overwhelming.

I was checking out his MySpace page yesterday. Steven had a video up about how he wrote Cinderella after giving his little girl and her sister baths and realizing how quick it seemed since his oldest had been that age. It's incredible that those moments will be what the Chapmans have to hang onto. And I agree, I can imagine the pain their son must be in.

I know, I was thinking about that song... I figured he'd written it because Emily is grown and now ready to be married, and he was thinking back to her childhood, but now every time I hear those words I know little Maria will come to mind, and how she was gone far sooner than any of them would ever have guessed. A reminder to cherish every moment you have with people, you never know if you'll have more...

There's an article about it in People. (my aunt gives it to me for my birthday) It said that Emily just got engaged, which I guess he saw coming. I just can't get what his son is going through off my heart.
